Race Info

A rolling fast course with a short runup and some punchy climbs. 70% of the course is viewable from the finish/registration/ pavillion area making it very spectator friendly. Cash and merchandise prizes will be awarded. Refreshments will be provided for racers.

The race is scheduled to be at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

  • Take QEW towards Niagara
  • At exit Mountain Road
  • Turn Left at the top of ramp onto Mountain Road
  • Head East along Mountain Road
  • Turn LEFT at Dorchester Road
  • This is the entrance to Firemans Park
  • Follow signs to Parking

From Peace Bridge, Fort Erie:

  • Take QEW towards Niagara
  • Take Mountain Road Exit
  • Turn RIGHT onto Mountain Road
  • Head East along Mountain Road
  • Turn LEFT at Dorchester Road
  • This is the entrance to Firemans Park
  • Follow signs to Parking

When?

The race is Saturda, September 17, 2010. The individual race schedule is as follows: Race Schedule:
  • 10:00am (40 minutes) - Master 3 Men, Senior 3/4 Men, U19 Beginner M/F
  • 11:30am (50 minutes) - Master 2 Men, Junior Men, Master and Senior Women
  • 12:40pm(1 small lap) - Kids race
  • 1:00pm (60 minutes) - Master 1 Men, Senior Men
We will make up a kids race on a small prologue lap, for those kids interested.

How?

Registration: $20 for Junior and U17, $30 all other categories. Registration will be available on the OCA website. Add $5 for race-day registration. The OCA will be present to sell Citizen Permits and UCI Licenses. Valid UCI license or "Citizens Permit" for cyclocross is required.

Equipment:

All bikes are legal in the morning races. Elite 1/2 and Master 1 must have an approved cross bike.
